Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Daniel V. Pace. We take pride in delivering quality books, merchandise, and media products to our customers.

Many physical products sold through this website are printed, fulfilled, and shipped through third-party production partners, including Bookvault. Because many items are produced on demand, please review the following policy carefully before placing your order.


1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 2–7 business days before shipment. Processing times may vary during launches, holidays, promotions, or high-volume periods.

Once an order enters production or fulfillment, it may not be eligible for cancellation or modification.


2. Print-On-Demand Products

Many books and products sold through this website are produced individually upon order through Bookvault and affiliated fulfillment partners.

Because these items are custom-produced:

  • returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse
  • we cannot offer refunds for accidental purchases
  • slight print, trim, color, or alignment variations may occur
  • minor cosmetic differences are considered normal production variance

These variations do not qualify as defects.


3. Signed & Personalized Items

All signed, personalized, or custom-inscribed products are final sale.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • incorrect personalization submitted by the customer
  • signature placement preferences
  • inscription dissatisfaction
  • normal cosmetic variation between signed copies

If a signed item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.


4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives:

  • damaged
  • misprinted
  • defective
  • or significantly different from what was ordered

Include:

  • your order number
  • photos of the issue
  • photos of packaging if applicable

If approved, we may:

  • replace the item
  • issue store credit
  • or provide a refund at our discretion

We reserve the right to request additional documentation before approving claims.


5. Lost or Delayed Shipments

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery timelines are outside our control.

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • carrier issues
  • weather
  • customs
  • inaccurate shipping information
  • stolen packages after confirmed delivery

If a package appears lost in transit, contact us and we will do our best to assist in resolving the issue with the carrier.


6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable:

  • signed books
  • personalized items
  • digital products
  • downloadable media
  • limited edition releases
  • worn or used merchandise
  • items returned without authorization


7. Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow 5–10 business days for processing after approval, depending on your payment provider.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the issue resulted from our error or a verified fulfillment defect.


8. Chargebacks & Fraudulent Claims

We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent chargebacks or refund abuse.

Customers who repeatedly abuse refund policies, falsely report issues, or attempt to exploit fulfillment systems may be restricted from future purchases.
